Dig up those old consoles from the loft. Raid that attic for those long-lost Game Boy! How about some console customisation? It’s one of the newer art and geek craft ideas and we’ve seen some incredible mods in recent years. From backlights to painted handhelds, the sheer dedication is something truly special. Add Pixel Inspired Bead Art to your art and geek craft ideas

Geeky bead art brings a little depth to those classic pixel sprites with some truly impressive pieces. It’s one of the art and geek craft ideas we’ve tried before, and it takes lot of perseverance! From huge Pokémon bead art to classic gaming items, creating these pieces can be so rewarding. Once all the beads are in place, give the artwork a good bit of heat to bring it all together! From coasters to fridge magnets, framed art to installations – pixel bead art is great fun!

Combining classic sprites with awesome framed scenes, we love the pieces brewed up by @caveofpixels – This Zelda piece is simply, heroic!
