The biggest Pokémon fans rallied together for one week of epic Poké-celebrations! #PokemonSnapWeek brewed up incredible photos, art and electric themes as part of a tribute to those ever-adortable critters!
The #PokemonSnapWeek Challenge
We challenged you to coming up with Instagram dedications to epic stadium battles, timeless throwbacks and gorgeous bouts of nature. Each day took on a different and fairly-loose theme but could have been anything within the world of Pokémon.
From snaps of game collections to cosplay, merch to fanart, toys to Pokémon cards, the possibilities were limitless! After seven days of incredible submissions, we were left impressed by the sheer dedication and originality poured into every snap. From picturesque Pokémon GO shots to breath-taking toy set-pieces, we’re simply in awe of just how wonderful it all turned out! Professor Oak would be one proud professor, indeed! It’s a testament to just how much passion the community has for all things wild monster!

Twenty Years since Pokémon Snap
Can you believe it’s been that long? Over two decades have passed since that Nintendo 64 classic ignited living rooms. Smartphones were an alien concept and mobile phones didn’t even have cameras. Can you imagine that?
The appeal of Pokémon Snap was stitched into the title: taking the best snaps of those Kanto favourites, trying to impress Professor Oak. The framing had to be exactly right. With a split-second to snag that elusive shot of Meowth peeing by a tree. Taking photos, in a video game? That was a rarity back in the ’90s. Wanting to print off your hard-earned moments? A trip to the local video store and a dedicated Pokémon Snap booth made that all possible!
Fast forward two decades and we’ve conjured up an online photo album of Pokémon snaps using our smartphones and digital cameras. Time has surely changed!
