We kick off our big 2025 video game anniversaries list with some heavy hitters for January – including the 15th anniversary of the Darksiders series, the original GameCube version of Resident Evil 4 turning 20 and the original Ice Climber series hitting the big 4-0. Within the mix of January 2025 video game anniversaries, we’ll also be seeing No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle and Mass Effect 2 hitting their 15-year milestones.

March 2025 Video Game Anniversaries
The March 2025 video game anniversaries list is a chunky one! There are a lot of classics to celebrate this month, with the original PlayStation 2 turning 25 (feel old now?). Also reaching a quarter of a century (sorry) is the localised release of Pokemon Stadium. Other Nintendo classics also include Wario Land 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. But the big headline for March must be the iconic RPG Chrono Trigger reaching the 30-year mark. Time flies!
